Stevo Steps Down After 3.5 Years of Service at CWL

One of CWL’s longest-serving moderators, Stevo, has officially stepped down from his role after 3.5 years of contribution to the league. Stevo’s departure marks the end of an era for many in the CWL community who have grown used to seeing his name pop up across team channels, match coordination threads, and friendly banter across Discord.

Stevo first joined CWL during its early seasons and quickly became a core member of the organizing team. His primary focus was on maintaining community harmony and resolving player disputes, often acting as the first point of contact for teams navigating league issues or needing guidance on rules and coordination.

Known for his calm demeanor and fair judgment, Stevo also played a key role in the development of CWL’s internal systems, helping streamline operations during the rise of CWL’s new divisions, Rise, Defy, and now Ascend. His time in staff coincided with CWL’s most rapid expansion, and his stability during moments of growth or challenge was consistently appreciated by staff and players alike.

In a heartfelt message to the community, Stevo expressed gratitude for the friendships and memories he formed during his tenure. He explained that stepping down was not due to any conflict, but a personal decision to focus on other areas of life. He also reassured the community that he will remain around CWL as a community member and spectator.

The CWL staff team and broader player base have responded with warm messages, memes, and tributes recognizing his years of service. While Stevo may no longer carry the “Moderator” tag, his presence and legacy remain a defining part of CWL’s story.

Thank you for everything, Stevo.
