The Swiss Stage of the 2025 CWL Spring Split has officially come to an end, concluding four intense weeks of non-stop action across both the Rise and Defy divisions. Teams competed in a best-of-three format each week, with matchups determined by their current win-loss records. This format led to increasingly balanced and competitive matches as the tournament progressed.
The Swiss system once again proved its worth, offering fair opportunities to all teams regardless of their seeding or history. It allowed underdog stories to unfold and established teams to be tested under pressure. The constant adaptation required each week showcased strategic evolution and individual player growth.
Now, the top 16 teams in each division have earned their place in the playoff stage. These teams, having proven their strength and consistency, will now face a tougher challenge as they enter single-elimination brackets where one bad day could mean the end of their split. With brackets seeded based on Swiss performance, every matchup from here on carries heavy implications for the road to the championship title.
