Why You Shouldn’t Miss Out
CWL is one of the most competitive amateur League of Legends tournaments, giving teams a structured environment to showcase their skills and climb the competitive ladder. With a brand-new format and an exciting roadmap for 2025, this season promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Important Details for Teams
If you’re still hesitating, here are some crucial reminders before the registration window closes:
- Player Requirements: If your team members haven’t met the required solo queue matches or level, don’t worry! They have until their first CWL match to complete these requirements. CWL Veteran teams have reduced requirements.
- Roster Adjustments: If you’re missing one or two players, you can temporarily add someone (e.g., your coach or manager) and later swap them for new players during the tournament. Keep in mind that you can only add up to two permanent substitutes once the tournament starts.
- Need Help? Any last-minute changes? Open a support ticket, and the CWL staff will assist you in updating your application.
What Happens Next?
- 16-19 January: CWL staff will contact each team’s spokesperson to go through the confirmation process.
- After Confirmation: Teams will receive payment details and must submit their entry fee to finalize their participation.
- Schedule Release: Expect the official tournament schedules by Sunday or Monday. Default match days and hours are available in the CWL Rulebook.

- Make sure to check Section 5.2 of the CWL Rulebook for crucial details.
- Leagues.gg will not be used for CWL Rise due to ongoing maintenance. Instead, matches will be played in standard in-game custom lobbies, with leaderboard visualizations provided to track progress.
